Sunday late afternoon, the weekend was still king for a few hours before the infamous Monday arrived. The lighting was good, the coast was clear and the timing was perfect. I wish I could say the same about the weather, despite the lack of snow, the air was so cold that it only took a few minutes for our Miami tan to fade away and for our fingers to go from brown to blue.
Equipped with nothing but a flimsy plan, a really expensive camera and bag of strawberry licorice candies, we fled the comfort of our warm couch to brave the unknown.
The idea of creating a six stories tall Space Invader using the curtains of Cirque du Soleil’s headquarter came to us a few months ago when we looked at the lighted building after sundown. What started with a few laughs and approving nods finally lead us to this frozen Sunday night, where that gigantic space invading monster was finally born!! Amen!
